CAMP26': Proud of You​

​Jamie MacDonald's family story is a journey from a broken home and childhood trauma to redemption. She grew up with divorced parents, an absent father, and a strict stepfather who banned her from singing, causing her to fall into rebellion, addiction, and homelessness. She later found healing through faith and restored her family relationships. Her song, ”Proud of Me,” is a song about overcoming the pressure of perfectionism, embracing personal flaws, and finding security in God’s love rather than human approval. When it comes to our story, we just need to know we are a child of God and He accepts us, without condition, just as we are. He’s proud of you!
