Kayak Prayers
There's something about paddling on the lake to calm your soul and transport you into the presence of God. The boyancy of the kayak bouys your heart toward prayer and you're ushered into a sanctuary of peace and quiet where it's easier to pray and just listen. Not only great for recreation, our kayaks provide you a great spiritual tool to enjoy summer beside still waters when you come on retreat here.

Porch Swing Devotions
When we designed our Prayer Cabin, much of our planning hinged on the little porch swing. We wanted visitors to have a place to hang out with God outside under cover. And there's nothing like a swing to relax and reflect. Add the beauty of our cabin's wooded lakeside setting, and you have the perfect place to read your Bible and have your devotions and "be still and know that He is God" when you come on retreat this summer and fall.

Walking & Talking with God
It was an overgrown blackberry patch before Stillwater Point. But our vision was to transform it into a place to walk and talk with God. That led to our current Prayer Labyrinth, circled with 30 arborvitaes, the number of years Jesus was in preparation for ministry. It takes you on a pilgramage of prayer to the heart of God in the center where you can lay down your burdens and lift up your requests and thank Him for His future answers. What's God preparing you for? Maybe it's time to walk and talk with God about it here during the warm, inviting months where you can get outside in nature and enjoy this beautiful place of prayer.

Watch Wildlife, Hear the Creator
The Great Blue Heron is a Jurassic-looking bird like a descendent of the ancient Pterodactyl. There's a hundred nests nearby and this is their feeding grounds. So if you love nature, this is just the beginning of wildlife you'll see here along with ducks, swans, eagles, songbirds, fox and deer. It doesn't all show up at once, but when you see it you'll be reminded of the Creator who oversees it all. Come and check it out this summer and fall.
